Heritage 1981 Website
Speaking of Heritage 1981, they have a cool section to their e commerce site called On Location, which features images from their most recent photo shoot. The shoot I did from the previous post is up there right now. I’ll be shooting with Heritage about once a month for at least the next year, so check back often to see what we are up to.
Sneak Peek – Heritage 1981 Campaign
Phew! It’s been a really busy few weeks! I have a lot of updating to do to my blog, expect to see some technical and behind the scenes posts in the next couple weeks. But in the meantime I wanted to share a recent shoot I did for Heritage 1981, a line from Forever 21.
Forever 21 has been a great client for me, they are a really fun bunch to work with and are always wanting to do something cool and creative with their imagery.
For this one, we shot in downtown Los Angeles near the L.A. River, right next to the train tracks. Lighting was really simple, just natural light with the occasional reflector. We shot tethered to a laptop using a Canon 1ds Mark II, a pretty standard set up for my location shoots. To give the images the old film vibe we did a bit of work in retouching.
Hope you enjoy them, and look for the finals to hit my website in the next week or two.
